Now this is the first month as we move into the autumn or spring season, depending on which hemisphere you’re in, and at this time of the year things are quite changeable in terms of the weather, but the planets are also up to their tricks because Venus goes direct in Leo and Mercury is going direct in Virgo conjunct the New Moon, at the same time this month, Jupiter is going retrograde in Taurus and all these will have important effects.
Venus goes direct in Leo – 4th September
Now Venus going direct is a good thing for relationships in general because while it was retrograde for the last six weeks, it was a lot more difficult for couples to gain understanding and to get a true grip on where the relationship was going.
Sometimes there was a lack of balance, communication was difficult and feelings were misunderstood, but as Venus goes direct there is a quiet confidence returning to the relationship, so Virgo Guy may not actively be verbalizing his feelings but he’s certainly beginning to feel more comfortable, more self-assured and this should mean that there’s a positive outcome in terms of romance.
This week you can start ironing out relationship difficulties, however, this is also a key time for fantasy and escapism. The best way to tackle relationship problems is in a holistic way, so this period is a fantastic time for couples who enjoy pursuits like meditation, yoga, or other spiritual exercises and this is because true love right now is linked to your level of spiritual understanding.
Jupiter retrograde in Taurus – 5th September
This represents a period of restlessness and questioning where he needs more space to grow and time to think about the bigger picture. If he has been restricted in any way, his life may open up more easily now, probably because he is less willing to abide by previous limitations, thus catalyzing him to seek greater scope and maneuverability.
Although you guys should expand your horizons at this time, you sometimes make mistakes as you expand too fast or without a sense of proportion, however, that’s not necessarily a problem as you quickly bounce back.
It’s important for him to be conscious of where things are going in business and other personal relationships, as while he is generous and eager to give people second chances, he can also fall foul of being too forgiving. Key in life and love is pattern recognition, mistakes happen but leopards also don’t change their spots, so he should know the difference between one-off events and patterns.
New Moon in Virgo Trine Uranus – 14th September
Good communication is really important in relationships, but that doesn’t mean long-winded conversations, as that can create more problems than solutions. The key is renewing the fun-factor to communication with Virgo Guy, having more banter, joking around, being supportive to each other and being thoughtful.
You don’t necessarily have to put aside time for long-winded debates around the kitchen table, because there’s not a lot of time and thus it is not a good period for that kind of communication. It is a good time, however, for you to enjoy spontaneous outings and trips with Virgo Guy and mutual friends, simply to lighten the mood and to re-invigorate your verbal interactions.
Mercury direct in Virgo – 16th September
While this is an excellent time for renewal, for taking action on implementing new plans and being entrepreneurial, it’s also a month when he may experience great indecisiveness. In one respect he may be all ready to go, but he is not exactly sure what route to take, and that’s why although it’s a good time for him to initiate, he should be open minded about the steps he is taking.
So let him know that it’s not the end of the world if it’s three steps forward and two steps back initially, as long as he’s learning from the experience. Everything he attempts now is about learning and gathering momentum, not necessarily about getting it right the first time, so be encouraging when he’s bumping how head.
While it’s fantastic that Mercury is now direct because it helps improve communications, facilitates travel and generally brings more organization to life, it’s important for him to be patient. Encourage him not to expect overnight results, as even though he’s working hard, it can be difficult to achieve the outcomes that he wants. So encourage him to stay the pace, to be patient and to make sure he pays attention to detail.
Theme of the month – The theme this September is to not only appreciate each other but to appreciate the journey that you are on with your partner, and to understand that the journey itself is an important part of the unfoldment of your lives, and how this is a totally unique and therefore beautiful experience.
Do – The new moon phase extends from the 14th of September to the 29th of September. This waxing phase is the perfect fortnight for new initiatives, setting plans, establishing goals, starting anything prospective and being proactive.
This is an excellent period for buying property, renovating or home improvements, it also favors family events. This is an excellent time for new business to do with hospitality and catering or literature.
This is a good zone for financial affairs, for new investment, improving cash flow and buying assets for his business. This is also a good time for improved reputation via word-of-mouth. This period favors publishing, advertising and long-distance travel for business or pleasure.
Avoid – This time the waxing period is tricky for any group or social goals, particularly to do with politics, humanitarian and charitable issues. Friend-with-benefits relationships with Virgo Guy are not successful.
This phase pragmatic matters are more important than spiritual and personal development goals.
He’s more likely to have to deal with tricky and duplicitous people or it may be that he is dealing with unreliable people who have no bad intentions, but the bottom line is that he can’t necessarily rely on what other people say or the information they give him. He needs to be cautious in all his dealings, particularly financial, with other people.

Week 1 – Fuzzy Logic
As you know, Virgo Guy is usually quite methodical, and he does finish what he starts; however, this week he can be more lackadaisical because he’s that much more impatient.
So when it comes to important dates or deadlines, they may slip his mind, so do remember to keep track of schedules, diary dates, the car keys or the bills because he could be a little bit scatty when it comes to these. Basically, he’s doing a great impression of the absent-minded professor this week, so don’t assume he’s got all bases covered.
He may have difficulty saying no, and lack of discipline is sometimes a problem. This is not a time for strict self-control, however, at least in certain areas of his life encourage him to apply moderation.
He tends to do well when he can scatter his energy in a number of different directions without a need for precision. He’s more competitive and can get along quite well in any situation, but any demand for detailed information or intensely emotional confrontation may leave him frustrated.
Week 2 – Fantasy
During the second week of the month, his behavior can be particularly erratic and confusing. He may be quite touchy and sensitive, and you have to be quite patient and compassionate with him. The best way to approach him is to be tender, and loving and not to push his buttons or introduce conversations about very mundane or stressful subjects.
He tends to want to escape into a fantasy world, so if you want to reach him you’ve got to do it when he’s feeling relaxed. The best way to communicate with him is to put on the kind of music or movies which lift his spirits and get him into a tranquil frame of mind, otherwise, it can be a little bit difficult to get on a level with him because he’s just a little bit vague, evasive and he may give off an air of aloofness.
Week 3 – Fate vs Farewell
It may well be that there are a couple of things bothering you in your relationship: things you don’t fully understand about Virgo Guy or about what’s happening in the relationship.
However, this week it’s more important to focus on yourself i.e. what you want and how you can replenish yourself. The more his rather “edgy” energy subsides, the more you’ll be able to deal with deeper issues in the relationship in the following months, but he simply doesn’t have the concentration to do it this week.
This week it’s important for Virgo Guy to play an active role in his fate, he should not just stand and take what life is dishing up to him, and just hope for things to get better. This is a time to develop strategies and positive attitudes about improving his situation or speeding up the road back to recovery, particularly if he hasn’t been well.
Week 4 – Pure and Simple
While he doesn’t particularly enjoy a clingy, needy partner right now, he also doesn’t like a partner who’s two laissez-faire. To encourage romance, you need to show that you are a reliable and steadfast friend and confidant, someone who respects him and who is also able to tune into his mood and knows the right thing to say at the right time.
If you are a particularly perceptive person, you need to use that antenna and your ESP to read him right now, because there’s a lot going on, but he’s not actually talking about it, but if you can show you understanding and act appropriately by judging his mood, that’s fab for romance.
